At Monash Veterinary Clinic, we offer consultation services six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, to support every stage of your pet’s health.

Whether it’s time for an annual health check, your pet is unwell, or you're seeking expert advice on behaviour, nutrition, or senior care, our consultations provide a personalised opportunity for our vets to assess your pet and discuss any concerns you may have.

Standard consultations run for 20 minutes and include a comprehensive physical examination.
For more complex cases—such as AQIS export appointments, unwell pets, behavioural concerns, skin issues, or when multiple health concerns need to be addressed—we also offer extended consultations to ensure your pet receives the time and attention they need. During this time, your vet will talk with you about:

• Any current symptoms

• Medical history

• Eating, drinking, and toilet habits

• Diet and weight

• Behaviour and activity levels

• Parasite prevention and lifestyle factors

Consultations are available for a wide range of needs, including:

• Vaccinations

• Pre-surgical checks

• AQIS export consultations

• Wound care and post-operative checks

• Dental assessments

• Diabetes monitoring

• General wellness exams

• Behavioural concerns

• Senior pet health checks

We proudly care for a variety of small animal species including dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. If your pet requires a service outside our scope, we will guide you toward trusted referral options.

With multiple veterinarians available each day, we aim to offer flexible appointment times and ensure that your pet receives timely, compassionate care.
