Flea Control Advice

Only 5%, of the flea's life cycle is spent as an adult flea on your pets. The rest of their life cycle is spent as flea eggs or immature flea larvae in the environment ( carpets, furniture, kennels and yards). It is very important to treat your pets and their environment to control and eliminate fleas.

Environment:

- Apply FRONTLINE PLUS drops to the back of the neck once monthly. FRONTLINE PLUS kills adult fleas and stops them breeding.

- Vacuum all floors 2 - 3 times weekly, to help remove eggs and developing fleas.

Animal

- Every month apply FRONTLINE PLUS, ADVANTAGE or REVOLUTION drops to the back of your dogs neck to kill all fleas.

- Alternatively, SENTINEL SPECTRUM, a tablet can be used, which will help to control fleas, and will prevent heartworm whilst killing all intestinal worms including tapeworm.  Sentinal Spectrum stops fleas reproducing. However it is also necessary to use an adulticide to kill adult fleas. (eg. any of the above)
